A pickup truck being driven by a 31-year-old man was killed when allegedly the driver changed lanes striking a semi-truck being driven by Joseph Jadach from St. Petersburg, Florida. After making contact with the semi-trailer the pickup truck driver lost control, went sideways hitting the guardrail, then going airborne and likely rolling tossing both passengers out and killing the non-driver passenger. The location of the accident was mile marker 137 on I-80 westbound in Polk County, Iowa. The driver of the pickup and its passenger were both from Waukee, Iowa. The fatally injured passenger was just 44-years of age. Susannah Dryer Thompson
