Last week I covered this accident involving the elder driver and the excavator. Did age contribute to the driver being confused and causing him to become disoriented? We may never know. I know my mother who is also in her 80's refuses to give up her driver's license. My sister lives next door to her (I've got a great sister!) and we both are concerned for her and other people's safety. Not because of anything that has happened, but because of what we all know can happen. When should we take the car keys away from our parents? Follow this link to read that article.
