September 24, 2010 - Johnson County, Iowa - Earlier I read about this collision from other news sources. The ISP Report isn't much clearer and doesn't really add much to the facts surrounding the accident. In this collision we have Michael Andreas, 56, driving a 1999 Dodge Truck south on Highway 965. It's difficult to understand from the report but it appears he may have been driving on a road that was closed due to construction when he ran into a piece of parked construction equipment belonging to LL Pelling Construction. Mr. Andreas died and the collision remains under investigation which probably means they are waiting for lab test results.
