Cedar Falls, Iowa Intersection Collision Demonstrates Look Out and FTY

The report has Diane Johansen, 53 from Cedar Falls pulling away from a stop sign right into the path of an oncoming Ford Expedition being driven by Stephanie Hinderscheit, 47 or Belle Plaine, Minnesota. If this is true, obviously Mrs. Hinderscheit has a claim against Mrs. Johansen for failing to drive using due care and a proper lookout. According to the report Johansen was cited for failing to yield upon entering a through highway.
