This collision/accident in Jasper County is a head-on collision between two vehicles. For whatever reason the first vehicle turned right into the southbound lane and came into contact, crashed if you will with the second car. The offending vehicle is a Dodge pickup truck, the second a Chevy Lumina being driven by an 85-year-old man from Lynnville, Iowa. The pickup truck driver was ticketed for failing to yield while turning left. That driver is a 63-year-old woman, also from Lynnville. She was uninjured and he died. Once again I'll try to include the entire report although I'm not sure the formatting will allow it. But I'll try. Call with questions. Steve Lombardi - 515-222-1110 or sdlombardi@aol.com.
