The amount of fake legal information on the Internet has made my practice somewhat more challenging. I can usually tell who has been on the Internet looking for do-it-yourself mini-lawyering-how-to-save-on-attorney-fees information. These folks call me, ask a question and when they aren’t hearing the answer they want, either tell me I don’t know what I’m doing or else argue with me about the right answer. I won’t say these folks are obnoxious, but then again I won’t say they aren’t.

Anymore, there are a lot of people looking for a quick answer and, who think they can represent themselves. As a result we hear from them only after they’ve screwed the case up and are drowning in ignorance.

As I told my associate, for many people there is no such thing as legal advice. People don’t come to us wanting to know how to prevent from being cut; they come to us afterward and beg us to stop the bleeding.

So today I’m calling it like I see it. If you’re not going to come to me at the beginning of the case, then do yourself a favor, and call us before you bleed to death.

As I told my associate, for many people there is no such thing as legal advice. People don’t come to us wanting to know how to prevent from being cut; they come to us afterward and beg us to stop the bleeding. Attorney, Steve Lombardi
