Another ATV Accident in Grundy County, Iowa

In this ATV accident a young boy, 9, from Dike, Iowa is described as being on 110^th Street, about 5 miles southeast of New Hartford, when he lost control, crashed and was instantly killed. The young lad is reported by Eastern Iowa News as Tate Johnson. In 30 years of practicing personal injury litigation and insurance claims work I've seen far too many young drivers killed or seriously injured while driving or riding on ATV's. They are dangerous and that raises the need for parents to closely supervise young riders of ATVs. Doing otherwise can increase the likelihood of serious injury and death.
