Ambulance Bills And Other Fraud

Medical Billing Tricks You Should Not Be Fooled By

After a car accident you get an ambulance ride to the hospital. You are on Medicare of Medicaid. You tell them but still you receive a bill for the complete amount from the ambulance company or the billing service. Do not pay this. Instead call them, advise (again) that you have insurance, tell them with which company and to submit the billing. They should. The reason are not billing your insurance plan would be because they hope you are fooled into paying the entire bill without regard to negotiated amounts and reductions. It is an accounting game, a gimmick or a trick.
