They should leave in as good a health as when they were arrested; at least that is the standard of what is supposed to occur when you are in jail. But something is up in Cerro Gordo County and the way the jail is being operated may have something to do with why that standard is not being maintained.
According to Radio Iowa, Inmate death in Mason City is under investigation, two inmate deaths have occurred in the last two months, separate incidents.
“It’s the second death in as many months at the jail, as another man died on December 1st after also being found unresponsive. No foul play was suspected in the death of 28-year-old Dacota Witham of Mason City.”
So what is going on and what will the DCI investigation show?
